Saath

How it works

  1. Say where you're going

Pick your station, type your area, drag the pin to your drop point.

  2. Meet people going your way

As soon as someone is going your way, we match up to 3 riders and show the gate to stand at.

  3. Ride and pay your share

The driver sees the stops in Marathi. The meter fare is split by how far each of you rides.

The fare rule

₹30 + ₹20/km

Legal metered fare: ₹30 for the first 1.5 km, then ₹20 for every km after, from 1 Sep 2026. Night rides (00:00–04:59) are ×1.25.

What a split looks like

One auto, 7 km, meter ₹140

  • Rider 1drops at 3 kmpays ₹28alone ₹60 · saves ₹32
  • Rider 2drops at 5 kmpays ₹46alone ₹100 · saves ₹54
  • Rider 3drops at 7 kmpays ₹66alone ₹140 · saves ₹74

Worked example with made-up distances, using the same fare maths as the app.

Nobody pays more than riding alone.

A group only forms if every rider's share is at most their own solo fare, and nobody rides much further than they would alone.
